Job DescriptionAn experienced, qualified and accomplished Sales Representative, with knowledge of fine wines, and relationships with restaurants and retail accounts in the Upper Midwest United States (ND, SD, NE, MN, WI, IA) region.----This role will report to the Regional Manager and require the individual to spend 70 - 75%+ of the time in the market selling and building relationships with key accounts.--Sales Representative is a full-time position that requires a confident and energetic person who has the determination, passion and aptitude to develop the existing business and:Build and develop relationships with customers and distributor sales peopleWork and visit accounts on your own to increase salesGrow sales placements/distribution and increase sales within each accountReach sales goals for the assigned territoryAssist in the execution of national programs throughout the territoryRepresent the company in a highly professional manner when working independently, with a supplier or our distributorParticipate in distributor sales meetings and work withsAttend bi-annual Vineyard Brands National Sales Meeting Desired Skills & ExperienceA Sales Representative must--maintain a high level of safety awareness in all aspects of the job, including while driving, handling cases of wine, participating in tastings, and entertaining distributors and customers.----In addition, a Sales Representativemust have good computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, and have the capability and/or ability to:Make presentations to the distributor sales force (50+ people)Meet deadlinesConduct seminars, tastings, staff training and winemaker dinnersLift up to 50 poundsWalk, bend, reach, kneel The ideal candidate is a person with:Minimum of 3 years of experience selling to on/off premise establishments in the Upper Midwest regionThrive in a fast-paced environmentOrganized, energetic and self-motivatedWill work with integrity and professionalismPassionate and enthusiast for fine wines and solid knowledge of wine regions of the worldWine education preferred (WSET, CSW, Court of Master Sommeliers) but not requiredGoal oriented with the ability to monitor your business and meet and exceed company and supplier objectivesAbility to relay the image of Vineyard brands and of our suppliers to our distributor team and customersAbility to work autonomously and work well within a teamAvailable to work flexible hours and weekends as necessary.----Additional hours may be required to match seasonal demandMust have a valid driver's license
