Job Description:

The Sales Associate for Pegasus North America is responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with existing distributors and retailers across the US, Canada, and Australia through superior customer service, as well as exploring business opportunities and opening new accounts to further the growth of Pegasus product in the global market.Expectations include:* Contribute information, ideas, and research to help develop marketing and sales strategies keyed to the North American market* Follow sales strategies and approaches for various products and services, such as special promotions, sponsored events, etc.* Answer questions from clients about products and service benefits* Tracks sales data and works to meet quotas and/or sales team goals* Help Analyze trends, data, demographics, pricing strategies and other information that could potentially improve marketing and sales performance* Create and present regular performance reports for managers and executives* Implement and adhere to company policies and procedures* Attend trade shows and travel to meet clients as needed* Demonstrate product and services as deemed necessary by clients and management* Help find ways to sell products in the face of a down market* Research client base to find new types of customers and sell to them accordingly* Help on analyzing and create a plan for engaging the target market* Analyze the competition to create a plan for engagement* Offer suggestions to improve product appeal for the target marketEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers* Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office, Excel, Outlook)* Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with limited supervision, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.Physical Requirements: * Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully, consistent with the ADA, FLMA and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.* Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
