This position is to support the Optum Financial Services
organization as a member of the Finance team and will work across
business lines to drive business growth. The ideal candidate will
have a solid background in financial modelling and analysis, with a
focus on supporting existing business growth initiatives,
partnerships, warrants, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A), as
well as solid executive reporting skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models
to support business growth initiatives, including forecasting,
budgeting, and scenario analysis
Business Growth Initiatives: Analyze and evaluate potential growth
opportunities, providing insights and recommendations to senior
management
Partnerships: Assess and model financial impacts of potential
partnerships, including joint ventures and strategic alliances
Warrants: Manage and analyze financial aspects of warrants,
including valuation and impact on financial statements
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A): Conduct thorough financial due
diligence, valuation, and integration planning for potential
M&A transactions
Ad-Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support
various business needs and strategic decisions
Executive Presentations: Prepare executive-level presentations to
communicate financial insights and recommendations
Problem Solving: Identify and address financial issues, providing
solutions and recommendations to improve financial performance
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including
finance, product, technology, and legal, to develop, recommend and
establish strategies, plans and processes to improve profitability
and cost efficiencies
Industry Knowledge: Understand and incorporate industry specific
metrics into reports to highlight relevant trends and support
fact-based business decisions

Qualifications:
5+ years of financial experience
5+ years of experience with Excel (experience with pivot tables,
database / logic formulas, etc.) -
5+ years of experience with Financial Modeling with business
drivers
5+ years of experience with PowerPoint
5+ years of experience with analytical, problem-solving, and
communication skills
5+ years of experience working independently and as part of a team
in a fast-paced environment
2+ years of experience with mergers & acquisitions (M&A),
corporate strategy and partnerships
Ability to work hybrid schedule in Eden Prairie, MN

Preferred Qualifications:
Proven knowledge of Hyperion Essbase, Planning and PeopleSoft
Financials
Ability to work in a matrixed organization and with a
cross-functional partners
Ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written) at
both the working and executive level
Proven solid attention to detail and accuracy -

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually
based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors
including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work
experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with
