Job Description:

One of my best clients is searching for a Warehouse Supervisor for their facility located in the Twin Cities.
This position will offer great growth potential for a strong Warehouse Supervisor. ! They are seeking a motivated and skilled Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee our grocery distribution operations.Responsibilities:Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective grocery distribution operations.Monitor inventory levels and implement appropriate replenishment strategies to avoid stockouts and minimize product spoilage.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and enforce warehouse protocols to maintain a secure and organized work environment.Train and mentor warehouse personnel on best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and equipment operation.Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for employee growth and development.Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall warehouse efficiency.Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor productivity, and generate reports.Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational performance.Qualifications:Previous experience (at least 3 years) in a supervisory role within a grocery distribution or similar warehouse environment.Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality control standards in a grocery distribution setting.Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.Strong preference for bilingual candidates.Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment is preferred.
