This position is responsible for supporting the Sr. Manager and Director of Sales in the development of customer recommendations and presentations. This position will also engage and coordinate the efforts of key stakeholders and subject matter experts to meet the scope & deadlines of projects. As with all positions at KeHE, we expect that all actions will be consistent with KeHE's Mission, Vision and Values.Essential FunctionsDUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Working cross functionally with the retailer category growth management and assortment teamIdentify product trends specific to chain retailers by analyzing:Syndicated data (SPINS, IRI)KeHE dataDemographic data (ShopperSights)Consumer data (Mintel)Research quantitative information to support innovative merchandising solutionsCompile actionable qualitative information to develop customer solutionsUtilize syndicated data portals to mine and extract information for customer presentationsCreate demographic clustering to determine highest potential customer store opportunitiesAnalyze customer assortment to determine voids & establish a priority rankingManage project to ensure timelines, progress & deliverables are clearly communicated & completedAssemble & proof final presentations for accuracy & consistencyEvaluate past performance of presentations & projects to ensure ROI potential is maximizedSupport other functional groups, such as the account management team on an as needed basisMinimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, AptitudeSKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:Working knowledge of POGs and POGs processExperience with grocery category management, the consumer package goods industry, and/or the grocery industry are a plus.Experience with syndicated data, keen focus on SPINSWillingness to take initiative on projects with minimal supervision.Ability to effectively communicate findings & recommendations in writing to internal audiences as well as brokers and customers.Demonstrated skill & competency with all Microsoft Office software.Ability to multi-task in a very fast-paced business environment.Capacity to learn & process quickly.Possess a sense of urgency & attention to accuracy & detail.Ability to effectively manage a wide variety of tasks simultaneously & often with time conflicting pressures.Demonstrated ability & willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends.Ability & willingness to travel (about 10-15%).EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:4-year Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field of study preferred; or equivalent of work experienceA minimum of two years of relative experience in quantitative sales & general business analysis.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.*Position is located in St. Cloud- 2 to 3 times a week at office*Requisition ID2023-20435Equal Employer Opportunity StatementKeHE Distributors provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits all forms of discrimination and harassment on the basis of race, color, religion or faith, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
