Job Summary:

Coordinates the activities of inventory specialist to insure inventory integrity and regulated distribution process flows. Monitors inventory procedures and policies for Fingerhut and fulfillment clients. Processes shipment records for liquidations and enters manual inventory transactions. Documents inventory results, status, and exceptions.

Primary Functions:

• Establishes selection criteria for inventory counts and location audits. Creates list of inventory records to be counted or audited.
• Coordinates the cycle count and slot SKU schedules to insure corporate targets are met. Monitors and reports progress. Identifies and investigates inventory errors and reports root cause to take corrective action.
• Acts on distribution pick/pack exception reports to investigate inventory issues and their root cause. Provides feedback to correct process or staffing issues.
• Reviews distribution processes to insure inventory movement is accurately accounted for on WMS and corporate inventory systems. Makes recommendations to improve inventory control methods.
• Processes inventory adjustments to correct receiving, shipping, and returns inventory discrepancies and to process manual pick list for special shipments.
• Processes shipment records for liquidation orders and inventory transfers.
• Develops and maintains inventory reports and queries. Performs ad hoc management information queries as required.
• Other duties as assigned (cycle count, slot sku, etc.)
