Crew Coordinators have responsibility for shift coordination of a high-performance work team including assigning and directing employees within their assigned cell.
Crew Coordinators provide decision making including safety, HACCP/Quality, planned downtime, unplanned downtime, line performance, and timely and accurate reporting for line performance.
This position is responsible for timely, effective, and accurate communication between shift crew team members as well as team members from other shift crews. Ensure no Safety incidents to Self or Others.Accountable for the performance results and capability of their equipment and crewDevelop the skills of the cell and mastery of their piece of equipment through training, teaching, and coachingSupport production lines via CPS processes and toolsProvide Safety and Quality Support, including strong understanding, interpretation and execution of Food Safety Guidelines/Good Manufacturing practices (GMP's), Sanitation, 5S, Aseptic methods, measures, and practicesDeliver Daily Operations SupportPerforms Material Support duties for the production cellKnowledgeable in all production duties within their cell.
Qualified to perform Packaging and Material Support positions.Assists other crew members with basic maintenance tasksFollows and executes tasks as directed by Cell LeaderTravel, as required (Other duties as assigned based upon the needs of the business.Responsible for Food Safety & QualityRegular, reliable attendance is necessaryKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:Demonstrated Excellent Safety Performance.
Accident/Incident-free behavior preferred.Desired minimum one (1) year above average performance in Cupped Snacks Maintenance or Operator role or equivalent combination.Ability to develop working knowledge of Cupped Snacks production equipment, quality requirementsTwo years related work experience on a manufacturing floor (food production preferred), or technical school training. Strong understanding of proactive versus reactive management systems.Must be proficient with computer programs - Microsoft Office (intermediate Excel, basic in other office skills)Ability to learn and accurately interact in SAPAbility to coach and influence crew members to elevated performance standardsDemonstrated history of pro-active work ethicDemonstrated ability to effectively work in and lead a team environmentDetail orientedExcellent analytical and decision-making abilityAbility to easily relate & communicate effectively with all team members within the departmentAbility to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks in a fast paced environmentAbility to work overtime and adjust work schedules on an as needed basisThe specific statements shown in each section of this description are not intended to be all-inclusive.
