We are seeking candidates for Roll Tender positions on 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm-7:00 am. Compensation for this direct hire role is $19.50 per hour. Interested? What a Roll Tender will do:

• 
  
• Read, understand, and complete job tickets
  
• Complete training and follow procedures
  
• Work with different paper substrates, viscosities, and coatings
  
• Roll tend on all heat set and non-heat set presses
  
• Operate presses in the absence of the operator on non-heat set presses
  
• Handle hazardous waste in a safe manner by following the safety procedures
  
• Communicate and complete shift to shift notes and other paperwork
  
• Maintain a clean and organized area/department
  
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and 6S/Lean manufacturing
  
• Participate in and suggest Kaizen events that could benefit your cost center
  
• Fill out MDI charts
  
  What you need to be a Roll Tender:
  
  • 
    
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
    
  • Good communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and math skills
    
  • Fluency in the English language is a requirement for this position to ensure the safety of all employees and team members
    
  • Understand and use TPM (total productive maintenance) and QCO (quick change-over) methods
    
  • Able to meet or exceed actual vs. plan run and make-ready goals of 100%
