Find Your Purpose with CentraCare JOB SUMMARY: The Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) performs a variety of technical procedures on patients of all ages by applying ionizing radiation to provide diagnostic results for the purposes of patient care, within established policies and guidelines. Patients of all ages served. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers. SCHEDULE: 12-hour day/evening shifts 9 a.m.-9:30 p.m., 3 days per week, every 4th weekend, rotating holidays, set schedule. Will rotate to the Operating Room and Urgent Care. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required. Graduate from an educational program that is accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT). LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified or ARRT eligible, must be certified within 30 days of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider card. Cardiac Pulmonary Recitation (CPR) certified. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Previous healthcare experience preferred. Hiring bonus requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last nine months. Relocation assistance requirements: Must accept a position that offers benefits. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from St. Cloud, Minnesota and relocate to within 30 miles of any of those locations any time before and no later than 120 days after you start work.
