Job Description Job Description Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Training & development We are seeking a compassionate Homemaker to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the life of a client by enhancing their quality of life and supporting a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment. Homemaking services have been authorized to ensure the clients living space is maintained and organized, with a focus on thorough cleaning and decluttering. The Homemaker will provide 6 hours per week of support through Optimal Home Care. Responsibilities include: Performing light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and cleaning living areas to help maintain a clean and safe home environment. Conducting deep cleaning and decluttering as needed to address accumulated items and improve overall home organization. Assisting with laundry and linens , including washing, drying, folding, and organizing household textiles. Meal planning and preparation or supporting with grocery shopping if outlined in the clients care plan. Running errands and grocery shopping to support household needs when required. Helping maintain a clutterfree and organized living space , reducing safety hazards and supporting independence. Providing compassionate support and respectful interaction with the client to foster comfort and wellbeing.
