together. At Optum, our Payer Admin Product team is focused on
delivering innovative solutions to the Payer market that drive
accuracy and efficiency. We are working to transform traditional
Payer processes and modernize technology and processes. The
Strategic Product Director role will lead defining the product
vision and executable plan to bring the vision to market. In this
role, you must be able to effectively communicate complex concepts
with vendors, customers, co-workers and management, both verbally
and in writing. You must balance a self-motivated, independent work
ethic with the desire to educate and assist others. Organization,
prioritization, attention to detail and the ability to work under
pressure are all crucial. Must have the ability to thrive in a
fast-paced environment. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work
remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough
challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Customer evangelist. Gain
deep understanding of customer experience, business needs, and
existing internal and/or competitive products relevant to the
domain. Stay connected to customer trends, needs, and pain points
in healthcare Develop product roadmaps: Translate product vision
and strategy into an executable plan Define product strategies:
Identify risks and create product roadmaps for consistent messaging
across teams Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: Design and build
proof of concept experiments based on common customer use cases to
evaluate the end-to-end customer experience. Own the full product
development lifecycle, including scoping, design, data collection
and analysis, and present a comprehensive written narrative of
insights and recommendations to senior leaders to drive
improvements Product delivery & execution: Responsible for working
with different stakeholders across product, engineering, and
research to take the product from ideation to production
Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with internal stakeholders
(e.g., research, clinical, marketing, software development
engineers) to execute the product vision and work
cross-functionally with peers/colleagues globally to support
training, best practices, and shared opportunities Manage
ambiguity: Able to work in a complex, matrixed environment.
Independently take steps necessary to understand complex
businesses, customer needs, and technologies and across a variety
of customer personas and product categories to define the product
Data driven decisions: Business analysis, including financial and
data modeling – market segment analysis, business case,
forecasting; continuously evaluate metrics to ensure all activities
are in line with overall product strategy Invent and simplify
methodologies: Plan, design, and develop a portfolio of
methodologies, tools, and systems for data collection and data
analysis. Continuously innovate and improve processes to optimize
efficiencies Go To Market & Pricing: Work with different
stakeholders to identify the right GTM strategy for your product.
Define the pricing strategy for your product You’ll be rewarded and

you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: 10 years of
experience in product strategy, responsible for managing or
delivering stakeholder commitments 7 years of deep healthcare data
knowledge and understanding 7 years of experience interfacing with
business leaders and strategic partners to deliver strategic
business plans and roadmaps 5 years of experience in
defining/developing and building NEW products that leverage an AI
Framework 5 years of experience leading and influencing
cross-matrixed team members and stakeholders, and delivering
quantifiable results with large-scale, cross-functional teams
Experience in successfully developing new software and /or service
offerings and bringing them to market Experience dealing with
ambiguous complex products and technologies. Ability to
independently take steps to define customer use cases across a
variety of customer personas and product categories to produce
meaningful insights Proven best in class collaboration skills,
ability to be a team player and flex as needed Preferred
Qualification: Knowledge of Benefit Plan specifications and
building benefit plans in an adjudication system *All employees

Telecommuter Policy The salary range for this role is $124,500 to
$239,400 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on
several factors including but not limited to local labor markets,
education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group
