Job Description:
Title: In-Home Services Program Specialist Location: Twin Cities
Metro Area Schedule: Monday-Friday with availability between the
hours of 8:00AM and 8:00PM based on the needs of those we serve.
Occasional weekend scheduling possible based on the needs of the
Program. Wage: $20 per hour (including Full-Time or Part-Time
benefits based on schedule) Essential Job Duties: Support
individuals with daily activities to achieve personalized outcomes
in residential group homes. Focus on increasing independence in
skills, such as learning about community resources, finding
hobbies, and working on personal cares, meal preparation, planning,
or budgeting. Administer medications and assist with daily personal
care needs. Perform cooking, cleaning, and other housekeeping
duties as needed. Assist individuals in achieving their personal
goals and support them in their daily routines. Work with
individuals displaying challenging behaviors, including verbal and
physical aggression. Adapt to each person’s unique needs and
preferences, tailoring services accordingly. Provide support in
areas of communication, personal hygiene, and basic living skills.
Required Qualifications: 21 years of age or older Proficient in
spoken and written English language Comfortable providing personal
cares (including but not limited to: bathroom supports,
bathing/showering, medication administration) Successful clearance
of Department of Human Services background check Successful
clearance of Motor Vehicle Background Check and acceptable driving
record per Company Policy Preferred Experience: At least 2 years
supporting individuals with autism, intellectual disabilities,
and/or mental health diagnosis At least 2 years working with
individuals with verbal and physical aggressions Experience
implementing Emergency Use of Manuel Restraints (applicable at
select programs)
