This position is ideal for someone seeking extra hours or very part?time work , with a schedule that includes day shifts every Friday and evening shifts every other weekend. As a Caregiver at Elim Shores , you will provide each resident with routine daily nursing care and services following guidelines and regulations. You will work beside other Caregivers & Nurses to assist our residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and medication administration while promoting dignity, independence and well-being. Our ideal candidate is a compassionate, dependable Caregiver who thrives in a team-oriented environment. Position Type : Part-Time Shifts Available: Fridays: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm Every Other Weekend: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm Wage Range : $16.92 - $20.30 per hour depending on experience Location: 7900 Timber Lake Dr, Eden Prairie, MN 55347 Caregiver Responsibilities: Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities. Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan. Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the RN. Document services performed on computerized charting systems. Assist residents with prescribed program activities. Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor. Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration. Pass medications. Perform additional tasks as needed. Caregiver Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years old. Current MN Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred, but not required. Excellent communication and customer service skills. A genuine desire to work with our elderly population.
