Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A leave replacement opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist in a school setting, located in Eden Prairie, MN. This full-time contract position offers a chance to provide essential therapy services to students from birth through 8th grade, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through April 23rd. The caseload includes approximately 75 students, with about 44 receiving direct services, including several in early intervention programs (B-3) receiving therapy 6 or 9 times per month throughout the calendar year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services to a diverse student population, focusing on developmental and educational needs. Manage a caseload of students across a wide age range, ensuring individualized care plans and appropriate interventions. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student development and progress. Document and track student progress in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements. Support transition services and comply with all relevant school and state regulations. Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist with valid credentials to practice in Minnesota. Experience delivering occupational therapy services within a school environment. Ability to manage a varied caseload with students ranging from early intervention to middle school age. Strong communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of school-based therapy protocols, documentation standards, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
