Anoka, MN Elementary School (K-12) Seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for an onsite maternity leave contract position in a public school setting. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with an elementary school caseload while supporting students across K-12 during a temporary leave period. The position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 5, 2026, working Monday to Friday at 37.5 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, focusing primarily on the elementary level Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and documentation in alignment with district policies Adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the varied needs of students to support their academic and functional performance Qualifications and Experience: Current and valid Occupational Therapy license suitable for school-based practice Experience working with children in educational settings, preferably K-12 Familiarity with school-based OT roles, including consultation, intervention, and compliance with educational standards Flexibility to accommodate varied weekly caseload percentages throughout the contract period (.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE) Willingness to commute within the Anoka-Hennepin district as needed Benefits of this Role: Temporary contract allowing for focused professional engagement Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school community Collaborative environment with opportunities for multidisciplinary involvement If you are a dedicated Occupational Therapist comfortable working with elementary students and able to manage varying caseload demands over the contract period, apply now with your resume and license to be considered for this rewarding position.
