Job Description Job Description DSP (Direct Support
Professional) Harry Meyering Center supports people with
developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes and

This position is eligible for a $1,000 hiring bonus Objective:
Provide support to those with developmental disabilities in a
person-centered way. Encourage independence and daily personal
growth while assisting with cares and engaging in home and

up-to-date information! Wage: $18.00 per hour for full-time
employees after the completion of a 90-day introductory period,
with a starting pay of $17.00 per hour. $16.50 per hour for
part-time employees after the completion of a 90-day introductory
period, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour. Schedule: Work
anywhere from 8 to 40 hours a week! This includes working at least
every other Saturday and Sunday. Plus, fill-in and holidays. Shifts
may include 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or other short
shifts, including 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM or 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Job
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide direct care for others in an
individualized and meaningful way. Assist in personal cares. Engage
in community activities, i.e., bowling, shopping, watching a movie
or exercising. Complete daily direct care such as bathing,
toileting, feeding, and dressing. Complete household chores such as
cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Maintain HIPAA Compliance in all
communications to HMC, whether written or verbal, external and
internal. Follows all health and safety policies and procedures.

Available Part-Time and Full-Time Availability Competitive pay and
benefits for full-time employees. Qualifications: Must be at least
18 years of age and have a high school diploma or general education
degree. Willingness to learn. Ability to perform tasks with
attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team environment
and independently. Good communication skills. Must hold a valid
United States driver's license and pass a driving record check
conducted by our insurance carrier unless otherwise noted. Must
pass the MN Department of Human Services Background Study Prior
experience or training is not required, but having experience as a
CNA, PCA, Caregiver, DSP, or healthcare-related professional is
