Doherty Career Solutions is partnering with a local St. Cloud, MN company as they search for a Melt Supervisor to lead the growing team. The position is 1st shift and offers a competitive salary, benefits package and opportunity to grow. The Melt Supervisor supervises melt operations by setting goals, organizing and assigning work, training employees, and maintaining a productive work environment in order to meet established production schedules.

What You'll Do:
Plan, coordinate and supervise daily melt operations
Develop and maintain a safe work environment
Train employees on safety, quality, and job specific tasks
Review and evaluate employee performances on safety, quality, attendance, and job performance
Counsel, coach, or discipline when necessary to improve performance or correct behavior
Support planning and direct and coordinate major equipment rebuilds and relines
Assist with budget, inventory control, cost control, investigation of new methods, and materials
Properly use and maintain test equipment
Maintain an adequate amount of raw materials, supplies, and tools to support production levels
Apply troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Maintain open communication with department head, department peers, team members, and other departments
Strive to continuously improve methods, processes, and tools, etc. that will promote improved safety, quality, and production

What We Need from You:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
3-5 years of experience preferred
Must be willing and able to wear all required PPE
Maintain conformance to company policies, procedures, work rules and regulations
