Minimum Required Skills: Electrical Engineering, PCB Design, SMPS, Digital Signal Processing, PID Loops, DFM, DFT, Altium Designer, P-SPICE, Mentor Graphics Based just outside of St. Cloud MN, We are currently experiencing significant growth and scaling our engineering team. This position will play a critical role in development of embedded software for robot controls, sensors, and interfaces. It will involve mentoring and collaborating with other engineers to implement solutions to difficult problems. If you are a Hardware Engineer with experience, please read on! Top Reasons to Work with Us - You will be part of a new team of engineers working on creating and bringing new products to market - Learn new skills by working with the latest and greatest technologies - Solid work life balance with great benefits What You Will Be Doing - Evaluate + select optical and electrical key components - Design optical transceiver hardware, provide guidance for PCB layout, - Act in a technical leading role coordinating and cooperating with multi-site engineers with regards to transceiver development - Perform optical transceiver tuning, testing, failure analysis and characterization - Support all the NPI activities to ensure successful product transfer - Complete technical documents, including design specification, schematic, test report, BOM, work instruction etc What You Need for this Position BSEE or 5+ years relevant experience Experience in design of industrial/automotive electronic control systems and assemblies Experience implementing SMS, TCP commands & TCP/IP protocols Experience with RF/wireless hardware and network protocols associated with, Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, and cellular data is HIGHLY desired Experience working with Microcontrollers and the ability to lead Firmware Engineers in the development of code for a product. Familiarity with simulation software such as P-Spice, Mentor Graphics Hyperlynx, Matlab Simulink Working knowledge of (C, C++, C#), LabView, and/or Visual Basic is plus Experience with Altium Designer for schematic capture and layoutSo, if you are a Electrical Engineer with experience, please apply today!
