Job Description Job Description Job Title: Machinist Job Description As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, including Swiss, milling, and lathe equipment. You will perform First Article inspections and produce components to specification, ensuring high-quality standards throughout the production process. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including Swiss, milling, and lathe equipment. Perform First Article inspections and produce components according to specifications. Adjust tooling, align machine axes, and ensure geometry accuracy. Monitor part quality throughout production and perform sample and final inspections. Utilize precision measurement tools such as vision systems, micrometers, and gauges. Troubleshoot machine and program issues and collaborate with programmers to refine processes. Improve cycle times and support continuous improvement efforts. Maintain tooling documentation, setup parameters, and quality records. Ensure machine safety features are functional and adhere to compliance standards. Support maintenance teams with preventive maintenance tasks. Keep the work area clean, organized, and audit-ready. Essential Skills 2 years of experience in CNC Milling or Swiss operations and/or relevant schooling. Proficiency in G Code and GD&T on blueprints. Experience with blueprint reading, quality checks, and precision measurement tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications High-level experience in Swiss medical machining is a plus. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Hamel, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
