Job Description Job Description Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager for a growing manufacturer of high-performing HVAC and air-handling solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong engineering expertise—particularly within the HVAC industry—along with a proven ability to lead teams, guide projects, and collaborate effectively with senior leadership. This role plays a key part in driving innovation, efficiency, and excellence across engineering functions, products, and processes. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management - Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Provide clear guidance and support to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. - Conduct performance evaluations, establish goals, and identify opportunities for professional development. Project Management - Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure project success. - Monitor project timelines and resource allocation, identifying and addressing risks or obstacles as needed. Technical Expertise - Apply deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems to provide technical guidance and solutions. - Review and approve engineering designs, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance product performance and competitiveness. Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to streamline engineering processes and workflows to drive efficiency and cost savings. - Promote a culture of continuous improvement and encourage innovative thinking within the team. Stakeholder Communication - Partner with internal stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and customer support to address customer needs and market requirements. - Communicate effectively with senior management, providing regular updates on project status, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. - Minimum of 3–5 years of engineering leadership experience, ideally within the HVAC manufacturing industry. - Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles and HVAC systems. - Demonstrated success leading engineering teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. - Strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems and drive results in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency with project management tools and software. - Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
