Additionally, we offer expertise in the Cybersecurity space.Vernovis is looking for a Network Voice Engineer / Specialist for an onsite, contract-to-hire role in Falcon Heights, MN. Candidates should understand the design and implementation of all Network and Telephony related Infrastructure.If interested, please contact Angela Rolls at arolls@vernovis.comWhat You'll Do:* Configure, maintain, support, and optimize all new existing Cisco/HP network hardware, software, and communication links.* Provide in-person and remote Level 2 support to end-users on a variety of issues including, but not limited to:* Manage Cisco ASA Firewalls* MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) Routing* BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) Routing* Troubleshooting Cisco Call Manager in either single-cluster or multi-cluster environment* Manage Cisco telephony infrastructure, convert new locations from analog phone systems to CUCM VoIP* Cisco Unified Call Manager (CM) (CUCM)* Cisco Unity (CUC)* Cisco IM&P* Cisco CCX (UCCX)* Cisco IP Communicator (CIPC)* Troubleshooting and configuring VoIP endpoints and gateways* Create and maintain documentation as it relates to network configuration, telephony configuration, network mapping, and processes.* Ensure stability and integrity of data and Cisco centralized wireless network services.* Support switching infrastructure, MPLS and IPSec connections across the organizationWhat You'll Have:* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Preferred 3+ years within network administration* Understands the design and implementation of all Network and telephony related infrastructure.* Understands functions of devices such as Routers, HP Switches, Firewalls, Load balancers, WLAN Controllers / Access points, full LAN cabling structure and VoIP phones (CCX VoIP Infrastructure) / servers* Knowledge of Solarwinds Orion modules for monitoring* Understands common network troubleshooting tools such as ping, traceroute, nslookup* Understands Network Services such as:* Configuring and maintaining DNS and DHCP services* Knowledge of VPNs: Remote-Access and Site-to-Site, DMVPN, SD-WAN* CCNA/CCNP - Or equivalent knowledge/experienceThe Vernovis Difference:Vernovis offers Health, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Short- & Long-Term Disability, Voluntary Life Insurance, 401K, Holiday Pay and Bonus Pay to you.Join our collaborative work environment so that we can all do our best work and learn from each other.
