Job Description:

Qualifications/Experience: Knowledge of the subject taught, ability to establish and maintain standards of behavior, ability to deliver articulate presentations, ability to work independently and with a team, ability to establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, students and parents. If over 18 years of age, a successful background check is required. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed: Perform intermediate skilled work, teaching youth learners for the youth programs. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Community Education Coordinator. Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self discipline and honesty. Specific Tasks: Develop lesson plans and instructional materials. Adapt teaching materials and methods to be relevant to the youth learners. Instruct students in relevant subject matter areas. Represent Community Education and Cambridge-Isanti Schools in a positive way. Hours Per Day: Position hours vary by program As per agreement
