staying active, and making sports fun? Since 2001, Revolutionary
Sports (RevSports) has been the Twin Cities' leader in youth sports
instruction, teaching kids ages 2-8 the fundamentals of sports in a
fun, engaging, and educational way. As a coach, you’ll make an
immediate impact, helping young athletes build confidence, develop
skills, and foster a love for sports. With flexible evening
schedules and opportunities to coach at parks, rec centers, and
schools across the metro, this role is perfect for energetic,
patient, and positive leaders looking to share their passion for
sports while gaining valuable coaching experience. Whether you
specialize in one sport or multiple, you’ll be part of a supportive
team dedicated to making sports exciting and rewarding for every
child. Sports Offered: Soccer, Baseball, Basketball, Flag Football,
Tennis, Pickleball, Volleyball, Ninja Warrior Fitness. Your Role
Will Include: Leading fun, high-energy sports classes working with
all ages of kids from 2-8 Following the RevSports curriculum to
teach age-appropriate skills. Coaching small groups (8-12 kids) in
30-45 minute classes. Parents are present for support as requested
by the coach. Larger groups have additional coaches. Engaging and
communicating with kids, parents, and staff. Tracking attendance
and completing shift reports. Qualifications: Age 18 Three 4-week
session (roughly 90 days) minimum commitment, but prefer committed
to year-round, or seasonally committed returning next year. Commit
to coaching at least two evenings per week Monday-Thursday. 1 years
of experience coaching, childcare, or teaching with kids is
preferred. Passionate about working with kids and being a positive
role model. Energetic, patient, and able to keep kids engaged.
Strong communication and leadership skills. Punctual, professional,
and coachable. Reliable transportation & ability to travel to metro
locations. Ability to transport and manage sports equipment (fits
in a trunk). Compensation: All new coaches begin in a training role
at $15/hour until they are ready to lead their own classes. The
training period typically lasts 10–20 hours, depending on
experience and readiness. After successfully completing the
training period, Lead Coaches earn $20/hour. Lead Coaches with one
year or more of experience working with children ages 2–10 in a
leadership role may earn up to $25/hour after completing training.
Coaches are eligible for raises, bonuses, and advancement
opportunities after completing three 4-week sessions (approximately
90 days). Location & Shift Times: Shifts are offered within a
25-mile drive. Part-time: 2-4 consistent nights per week from
4:30-8:30 PM (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Shifts are
typically 2-4 hours in length. We do not offer any Friday night or
weekend shifts during the summer. Full-Time Summer: Must be
available May 8 – September 4, with availability between 8:00 AM –
8:30 PM Monday–Thursday and 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Friday. May be
scheduled for up to 7–8 hours per day within those hours. Start and
end dates may be flexible; however, team members must commit to 12
consecutive weeks. Any adjustments to agreed-upon dates must be
approved in writing. We do not hire candidates for daytime-only
