A unique opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy, focused on supporting elementary-aged students. This role is based in Saint Paul, MN, and offers a contract position for the current school year, providing impactful services within an educational setting. Responsibilities: - Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to elementary school students, addressing developmental, sensory, and motor skills needs. - Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and support staff to create individualized therapy plans that enhance students' academic and functional outcomes. - Conduct assessments, develop goals, and regularly monitor student progress. - Adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of students within the classroom environment. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies and state regulations. Desired Experience and Qualifications: - Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist with a focus on pediatric and school-based practice. - Proven experience working in elementary school settings is highly preferred. - Strong understanding of educational frameworks and individualized education program (IEP) processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. - Ability to engage and motivate young children to participate in therapy sessions.
