Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required. Position: Special Education Teacher Location: Lakeville, MN Start Date: ASAP End Date: June 11, 2026 Schedule: Full-time (1.0 FTE), Monday Friday, on-site Work Setting: Part-Time at two elementary schools, splitting the day with a half day at each site This opportunity entails working in a resource setting serving students with mild to moderate disabilities. The caseload includes pull-out services as well as collaborative inclusion support. Grade levels and student needs may vary based on district placement. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct instruction aligned with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other service providers Develop, manage, and update IEPs, including progress monitoring and accurate data collection Maintain clear and ongoing communication with families and support teams to ensure students success Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Active Minnesota Special Education teaching license with any qualifying endorsement such as Learning Disabilities (LD), Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or related areas Experience working in a resource setting supporting mild to moderate disabilities is strongly preferred Ability to adapt instruction and collaborate within a team-based model Benefits and Compensation: Competitive hourly rate between $38 and $45 based on skills and qualifications Comprehensive healthcare benefits available W2 contract status This position offers a meaningful opportunity to impact the educational growth and development of students requiring specialized support in an elementary school environment.
