Job Description Job Description HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the manufacturing industry! Salary: $31-41/hr Shift: 7 days 8 AM–4 PM, then 3 days off 7 days 12 AM–8 AM, then 2 days off 7 days 4 PM–12 AM, then 2 days off Location: Shakopee, Minnesota Job Duties and Responsibilities Repair and maintain electrical, mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving chains, belts, rollers, conveyors, palletizers, and inspection systems. Use a wide range of hand tools, power tools, welding and cutting equipment, and machine tools. Perform skilled trade work such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical installations. Service mechanized equipment, including hoists, elevators, mobile equipment, and hi-lifts. Install and maintain utility lines for gas, water, and air. Inspect, install, relocate, and repair motors, switch boxes, control devices, and power circuits. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on plant equipment and machinery. Support furnace operations by assisting with installation and adjustment of burners. Weld, braze, and fabricate metal structures like guardrails, catwalks, and platforms. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to diagnose and repair industrial systems and equipment Proficient with industrial tools and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints Physically capable of performing hands-on maintenance tasks Willingness to work rotating shifts Preferred: Experience with welding and fabrication Basic carpentry, plumbing, and painting skills Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and recordkeeping systems
