Accounts Payable Specialist We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing Accounting Department. In this role, you will support the Accounting Manager and help ensure the seamless operation of accounts payable processes across all our brands. Your responsibilities will include invoice processing, inventory 3-way matching, disbursement issuance, vendor issue resolution, and month-end duties related to intercompany transactions. Exceptional customer service skills are essential to maintaining strong internal and external relationships with vendors and other departments. Key Responsibilities: Process accounts payable in accordance with company policies, including: Entering invoices Conducting inventory 3-way matching Managing month-end accruals Overseeing check-runs Reconciling statements Communicating with vendors Maintain up-to-date vendor records, including credit information, W-9s, certificates, and other required documentation Assist in reporting and filing annual Form 1099s Support the maintenance of the Vendor Scorecard Collaborate with Procurement to ensure accurate item costs by reviewing item pricing, customs, and tariffs Handle intercompany transactions across multiple companies Test and ensure process integrity following system changes and enhancements Research and interpret data to answer accounting and financial questions Assist with the preparation and execution of the year-end audit Maintain and update process documentation to ensure accuracy and efficiency Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as needed Additional Functions, Duties & Accountabilities: Maintain flexibility in work schedule to meet business needs Contribute actively and positively to the company's overall success Participate in inter-departmental meetings, projects, and company initiatives Provide support to other departments where skills and experience can be beneficial Required Experience & Qualifications: Educational Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (preferred) Experience & Skills: 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field (required) Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and analytical skills Work Model: In office
