Anderson Trucking Service (ATS) is growing our Accounting Team in St. Cloud, Minnesota!This is NOT a remote or work from home position. Internally this career is known as aSenior Staff Accountantthat prepares company financial statements, performs general accounting and financial analysis, along with month-end accounting duties. "What does it take to be successful?" + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field preferred. + A firm understanding of accounting and financial analysis principles usually gained through 3 to 5 years training in accounting and/or related experience. + Must be very familiar with automated accounting systems and fluent in the use of Microsoft Excel. + Focused on details, excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Passion for analytics with the ability to apply data and maintain a high level of confidentiality. + Establishes, modifies, documents, and coordinates implementation of accounting and internal control procedures. + Reviews, investigates, and corrects errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. + Provides special project assistance to the CFO, VP of Finance or Accounting Manager. + Monitors compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
