• Worksite Location: Saint Cloud, MN
• Work Hours: 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
• Pay Rate: $25.00-$30.00 per hour, depending on skills & experience
  Accounting Specialist Job Summary:
  Responsible for supporting the business in the areas of accounts payable by performing accounting tasks for the maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
  
  What an Accounting Specialist will do:
  • Has primary responsibility in the areas of accounts payables including but not limited to matching invoices to receiving documents, post invoices into the computer system, generate accounts payable and refund checks, reconcile vendor statements, phone calls and discrepancies, credit applications, etc.
  • Reconcile invoices against purchase orders
  • Responsible for maintaining vendor, check and payment files accurately enabling easy retrieval
  • Scanning source documents as needed
  • Prepare daily bank deposits and daily bank entries
  • Send out 1099 reports, W-9 reports and update files
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial analysis reports, help in maintaining department budgets and generating cost reports
  • Provide timely response to every customer, both internal and external
  • Handle customer accounts receivable inquiries
  • Reconcile accounts and handle general ledger entries
  • Seek to continuously find ways to make our processes more efficient while improving the quality of the services and information we provide
    What you need to be an Accounting Specialist:
    • 2+ years of Accounting (A/P and A/R)
    • Associates degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
    • Strong Microsoft Office experience, particularly within Excel
